     The Audience Summer Internship is a full-time, paid opportunity that runs for 10 weeks from June–August (exact dates vary from year to year). You’ll be teamed up with a mentor who will guide you from day one as you tackle actual client work. The position is based in our Bryan, Texas office. 


     We receive many applications each year and are very intentional with the members we add into our team for the Summer Internship Program. With so many amazing candidates, how do we narrow it down? We’re seeking out people who are hardworking, smart, fun, coachable, and constantly curious. Those who are passionate about creating experiences, and can hit the ground running with a can-do attitude.

     Our interns are typically rising college juniors, seniors, that have an interest in working for Audience post graduation. Successful applicants are studying or have experience in marketing, communications, event management, theater production, viz, communication, journalism, and related fields through on-campus extracurricular activities, or other work experience.      Summer Internship opportunities should be posted to our Culture & Careers page on or around February 3, 2020 and will close end of day, March 27, 2020. Be sure to apply directly through the website. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and offers are typically made in April.

     All intern applicants (Design, Illustration, Copywriting) must provide a link to their portfolio on their resume. Design and Illustration intern applicants should also have a background in graphic design with advanced skills in Adobe CS, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.


  • Do you guarantee employment after the Summer Internship?

    • While we can’t guarantee employment, we are looking for interns who could eventually join the Audience family. Our annual retention rate is pretty high, and we typically extend about half of our available Interns past the end of the summer program.

  • Can I do an unpaid internship at Audience?

    • Unfortunately, no. We want your time at Audience to be of value by providing you with hands-on experience. For that reason, we are not able to hire unpaid interns to do the work that we would normally pay someone else to do.

  • Do you offer academic year internships?

    • Sometimes! We offer internships during the academic year on an ad-hoc basis. Stay in touch with us on through our website for these opportunities.

     Located in College Station, TX, Audience Mediais growth consultancy with a specialty in digital marketing. Together our team is composed of strategists, technologists, creatives, and developers. With a focus on entertainment, destination, health, and wellness industries, we partner with some of the biggest destinations and events in Texas to tell their unique "Digital Campfire" story through highly targeted, creative, and mobile campaigns.


     This Summer and Fall we are looking to fill two available internship positions, both for 20hrs/week or more. Interns requiring course credit can submit their internship needs, and accommodations will be made. The position starts at $10/hour and will run approximately for Summer from June 1st - August 15th, 2019 and for Fall from September 1st - December 30th, 2019. Start and end dates may be flexible.


     The interns will play an active role in the development and maintenance of our clients and gain hands-on experience with Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Digital Story Telling, Advertising Platforms, Photography, Videography, Website Development, Campaign Creation, Event Strategies, and more.


     The ideal candidates will be fast learners and possess social media fluency and Photoshop skills.


     He/she will learn how to reach specific audiences, promote events, and understand social media platforms and the tools used to assess social campaign performance. They should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish their internships having gained broad and relevant experience in many aspects of marketing.



  • Creative individual who is comfortable with both collaboration and self-driven work.

  • Approach work with passion, discipline, and professionalism.

  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in learning new digital marketing skills to grow with changing trends.

  • Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram.

  • Experience with video-editing or photo-editing  software is a plus

  • Photography experience is a plus
